Looking For Truth Poem by Sandra Feldman

Looking For Truth

Rating: 5.0

Where is Truth?
We are bombarded with lies,
That all sanity denies,
We used to have a free press,
Now they are all,
Intrigues that depress.

So where is the Truth?
Do we really know?
That the world has not changed
That nobody cares,
That all is false promise
And illegal affairs,
And finally that Truth depends,
On the fluctuating power
Of the Storm or ill Wind,
That blows and bends.

Yes, I ask the same question, it never ceases to amaze me how people gulp down anything the media says as holier than heaven, and how they anoint every perversion at the expense of what is decent, Pilot asked the question...what it truth? I'm sure his being involved in the political arena of his day prompted the question to a large extent, and so we have a more complex matrix today of lies upon lies upon lies with the usual suspects calling the locals to mob mentality, with all of my heart I detest the media on all sides, your poem gets a big amen! ! !

Par hazard, je me suis réveillée tôt, et j'ai vu ton poème! I hear your despair, friend It seems truth is nowhere to be found But lies and deception will come to an end And freedom and truth will abound! It's not just wishful thinking Reasons to believe this are sound
