Long Road Poem by Jorge Loera

Long Road

Rating: 5.0

Where I'll turn I will end in, far from where I started but begginings will begin. No matter where I am, alone or surrounded I will stand, with my heart as a wrist band, worned, seened, touched; but it won't hit land. Away from all the turns gone wrong, it's time to prove what I have learned. Dearest to my loved ones that threw me back where I could of wised and then growned. Well is up to me now, here comes now and then some. The long road awaits me, don't know how I'll travel but the ends will meet. Oh lord have mercy, at the end of the day I will see, the path you give me is my destiny. I'll take the truths and lies and what comes from vanity, selfishness, insecureness and possibilities. I will take this long road and embrace my life and show that I am alive.
