Long Gone Poem by Ronald Nyakweba

Long Gone

Rating: 5.0

Deep down my heart
Dwells, a lively smile
Of a soul long gone
To the land of spirits

I miss the kiss
Deep down my heart
I can’t quench the thirst
Heating my young heart

I miss your hands
So soft, so warm

I miss your lips
Giving such a sweet kiss
Arousing my secret emotions
Leaving my body dumb

In my poor heart,
Forever you will sit
Rest in peace sweetheart

Again you have touched the poetic heart also. Too simple your style of exposing yourself, but a poem stands strong with its aesthetical beauty. Reader should be sad for the loss but it gives another strength to combat the adverse waves of life. Thanks for inviting.........10/10 (if machine functions properly) Regards, pranab
