Long Before I Met You Poem by Birbal Singh

Long Before I Met You

Rating: 5.0

Long before I met you
your presence was felt
you were there to tease my dreams
in fancied memories of love
that never were
In ‘loneliest longings of love'
in desperate days of despair
you were there
to console my soul
not in person
A figment, a fancy, a mate of my soul
and then you disappeared
to appear as you.

" And then you disappeared To appear as you." , imagination brought forth from the corner of heart where it was being cherished in love, finally burst into poetic end.
