Lonely Shores Poem by Alexander Romanov

Lonely Shores

The sky imploded
With the sound of silence
The flicker of stars beneath my feet
Silver strings of heavens chime
This evening knows me by heart,
But today my sadness will rain.

You and I
Two lonely shores,
The waves wash over us
This dark evening,
Raindrops fall between the lines,
Fear in each of us,
God in each of us

You and I
Connected with bridges of life
So similar, just tired at times.
Inverted sky in the reflection of yours eyes,
It all depends on God,
And of course on us.

This evening knows me by heart,
And today I pour out my sadness.
We are two different shores of the same sea,
And we will not ask for forgiveness just to be

Let the cruel tears crawl down cold cheeks,
Even the Gods cry in the rain.
Baptized by heaven, by faith and words,
I whisper to you: 'just wait.'

You and I
Gaze into the abyss,
Lonely in the cold void of cosmos.
Neither rain nor snow can stop us
As long as the bridges do not burn

Let my head spin
With the wild wind and the faded autumn leaves.
I am not afraid of your words
It only scares me when the words
Are not what they should be

My feelings are a deep river,
No one will ever know what they are.
Between the two bridges
Are two lonely shores,
Where even the Gods cry…

You and I
Two lonely souls,
In the city drowned in rain
Where the heavens sleep in our arms
And we will not wake them up

You and I
Two lonely shores,
Between us rivers of tears
And unnecessary words
You soar high in the clouds
As I am looking for you
In the labyrinth of my dreams…
