Lonely Girl Poem by Brooke Peterson

Lonely Girl

Rating: 5.0

Lonely girl, alone at night
Lonely girl, in broad daylight
Lonely girl when I'm with you
Lonely girl, when my hearts untrue.

So many people, all around
So many things to be found
So many tears I have cried
So many times that I lied.

I wouldn't be lonely if I had you
I wouldn't be lonely, if I was untrue
I wouldn't be lonely for just a day
I wouldn't be lonely, in that sort of way.

So many reasons it can't be
So many seasons I have to see
So many memories to erase
So many dreams to fill their place.

This is another one that I can relate to. Brings me back to those days when I felt that way.

Wow! I get this! And you know I do. Very good form. The repitition helps convey the heartache. Glad I came by to read :)
