Confined in the walls
Left to my thoughts
Everyone's attracted to their forms
Stuck to their world
I'm paying attention, but it's same rhythm
It's in my head
It's in my mind
It gets louder
A still voice
It won't stop
Then the mutter gets louder
Even louder
Now I'm engaged and yesterday's history
Then something else's got my attention
Same still voice
I'm just lonely, and those voices
The still voice
In my head, my mind
My freedom from loneliness.
