Lockdown Poem by Tango

Lockdown

Here in New Zealand,
it is lockdown once again,
man kind is being punished
for his never ending sins.

Will this nightmare never end?
On me the walls are closing in,
this bloody Covid Virus,
is driving me around the bend.

Alone here left with nothing,
but my thoughts, my mind goes back,
to happier days of laying on the sand,
with the warm sun beating down upon on my back.
