Mother is the embodiment of love, truth and spirit
Father is source of all comfort, consolation and grit
One fosters the physical strength and nourishes the mind
The other takes all the loads of life, and puts all problems in grind
One feels the pain when I falter in life and other inspires to be tough
Feel strong because of their special care and taught me not to be rough
Do not allow any thorn on the path to prevent progress and make life smooth
With their blessings I move on and not waste time looking back and forth
