Living As One

Could there be a day when everymen was free to live in a world that's
Troubled with hatred and violence. will the light shine down on the
Children. give them every right. someday there love will shine bright
They won't have to die in the street's of poverty. it's time we unite
To live as one. the only way toward's peace and harmony. are heart's
Are broken from past tragedy's. feeling the blue's from yesterday
Searching for a new day. giving us hope toward's the future. bringing
The people some love and joy.

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,

The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
