Little Treasures 2

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes we sow little treasures
but they fall on stony ground
and there they fail to grow.
While others are sown with impunity
and grow and grow and grow.

This one is really clever David, and I believe it to have a kind of meaning that is open to interpretation. I believe it is about grabbing your chances when they occur. Great Poem Steve

Thanks for putting words to this; I have always wondered how it is that the most deserving, most inspiring thing can get trampled into the dust, while lesser beings are exalted; almost as if everything has a fate that can't be overcome by any quality it possesses.
