Little Toys Poem by Velvet Thorn

Little Toys

Rating: 3.5

Cars and trains
And boats and planes
Fossil rocks
Found in the rain

Crayfish, frogs
And plastic dogs
Lego blocks
And Lincoln Logs

Stones and sticks
And magic tricks
Broken trucks
We have to fix

I hate to grouse
but, that dead mouse
Why'd he bring it
In the house?

Chainsaw toys
Make too much noise
They're all the rage
With little boys.

very cute, which is a GOOD thing in this case. But I agree the mouse stanza might work better at the end.I think it is the strongest one and should end the poem

Nice whimsical feel in this poem. Felt like I was looking around my kids room. Very nice. Sincerely, Mary
