Little Reminders Poem by Virginia Williams

Little Reminders

Tears fill my eyes
Slowly they fall, down my face
Hitting the floor one by one.
With every tear that falls,
There is a drop of blood.
With every drop of blood,
There is a new scar.
With every new scar,
There is another reminder.
The reminders tell me,
No matter how many times I try to kill myself something inside of me will only let me leave myself little reminders that will never go away.
