Little Pink Flower Poem by Katerina Richmond

Little Pink Flower

Rating: 4.0

Little flower in the grass
You have grown so fast.
Now you're pink with rims of white
Now you get to enjoy and represent sunlight.

Little flower soft and smooth,
In the breeze I see you groove,
Its so cute the way you move
Watching you will tend to sooth.

Little flower cold and wet,
It seems there is a spider you have met.
Are you stuck in it's webbie net?
I will get it off, I will help you out.
Oh little flower, do not pout.

You are my little flower, and mine alone.
I've been here, I see you've grown.
Your the prettiest ever known.
I hope my adoration is shown.
I love you little flower.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
If you think about it, this could be a metaphorical peice. Webs representing life's challenges and stress, the flower being the one you love. Wife, daughter, girlfriend?
Side poem:
I have none of the three.
But I know it'd be sweet if a guy said those words to me.

The poem is so beautiful and your note is so sweet! The flower is lucky, your eyes met her! Today I wrote a poem titled 'A Solitary Flower'. If you have time, please read the poem and say a few words on it, if you like!
