Little Girl Poem by Ari Xeiu

Little Girl

Lovely, lovely little girl
She dreams of dancing the perfect dance
And making the most elegant twirls

Lonely, lonely little girl
A beauty, surrounded by beasts
Why cant she escape this cruel, cruel world?

She says she's 'Okay'
But that can't be true
Because she's crying and screaming
For her, all of that loneliness and hate
Is nothing new

Lovely, lovely little girl
Dreams of being a beautiful princess
With lots of sparkly diamonds and pearls

Lonely, lonely little girl
She wants to escape this terrible tower
That she's being locked away in by that monster
Who cut off her beautiful golden curly curls

She acts like shes strong and unbreakable
But her beautiful, grassy green eyes tell me the truth anyways
She's crying and screaming on the inside
She believes, all of that pain and sorrow
Will never go away

I tried to tell her
But she wouldn't listen
I wanted to help her
But she had already escaped
I wish I could save her
But it's already too late

At least she's finally free
She can finally be who she's always wanted to be

You can finally be happy
You can finally fall asleep at night
You can live in a midnight sky, as starry as you'd like
There will be no more monsters
To cause you terror and fright

Just remember what I said
Whenever your scared or lonely
Keep these words in your heart and in your head
These words are for you only

'I will be your big sister and be there for you through the
Good and bad, whether it's night or day
Forever&Always'
