Little Girl Poem by Leslie Kavanagh

Little Girl

Rating: 5.0

Drunk little girl
You always do this to yourself.
You drink too much.
You talk to much,
And you move to fast.

And then you wonder why.

Stupid little girl
You set yourself up for sadness.
You believe what he says.
You wait by the phone,
and you watch your time go by.

And then you wonder why.

Drunk little girl
You will never learn.
You can't face the mirror.
You just fall asleep at the bar,
and your friends drag you home.

As sad as this one is, I really like it. The tone and way you've captured that emotion are perfect. Great work.
