little girl,
would you listen to my tune?

it's not about an apple or a prune,

it's a very old kids-song,
just listen, it's never wrong

I saw two bears,
eating pears,
oh, that was true delicious,
wonderous and precious,

it was a miracle,
miraculously,
that those bears were eating pears,

it's fun to see,
during my walk
to watch these bears eating pears

so, sweet little girl
that was my tune,
'bout two bears eating pears, no apple nor prune,

that's a very old Dutch kids'song,
come on, sing along,
it's never wrong, to sing along with this old Dutch song....
