Little Boy No More Poem by Xtopher Ortwine

Little Boy No More

Deep breath oh so fast
I lunge forward
yes at last
to quickly like a blast
the wall shatters like glass
on the ground
air swirls around
I wear my frown
tonight while I drown
Somewhere unfound
You dance around
Smiles to joy
At this tone
Where my heart beats
Beneath your feet
And every beat
Will increase
While you feast
On my memories
While the beat
Starts to decrease
My eyes
Start to close
My body
Stars to decompose
My heart
Withers at the tone
Of your voice
Of the note
Of the light
Scared to show
I say goodbye
Without words
I am no more
Your little boy
