Little Blind Heart Poem by Asma Khan

Little Blind Heart

A little glimpse through your heart
tore my sorrows part by part

blindfolded me in endless tears of joy
and kept me rattling like a toy

like the moon wrapped in those crystal eyes
showered happiness over me from seven skies

Evening red rose dressed in crimson glitter
makes my heart’s flames flicker

Mirrors reflect his words unsaid
leaving my heart drop dead

For verily the heart knows nothing but ambiguity
all that fate has given me is this opportunity

cloudless night brought me your message
my soul knows nothing but your passage

come to me for you are my last venture
I sought you in the way of every treasure

how so true knowing you are not mine
yet your thoughts make my imagination shine

He claimed many times, I am in love
if so, could he see his name from above

Would it be true if I really get you
a question I ask myself and you?
