Girl-child or boy, what God gives you is joy!
A child’s, a priceless gift of God, not toy –
A mini human being that needs love,
Like how the Maker bestows from above.

A child is far more precious than all gold!
A child is source of love and care, when old;
A child needs nursing care and breast-feeding;
A child completes the home by much loving.

The health of mother is therefore quite prime;
The child’s rearing needs parents’ extra time;
Calmness of mind and heart are important;
Boy or girl needs love and care abundant.

A calm approach is magic behind birth;
God’s grace converts the labor pain to mirth;
All will be well, just pray and do your job;
A new-born’s cry will bring joy to a mob!

Just keep your patience and be cheerful, dear!
Eat well and sleep and exercise sans fear;
The day of parturition will come soon;
The baby born will always be your boon!

May be, a boy is what most people want;
At times, for girl baby, some people chant;
Each child is life God gives to mankind free –
To show our love, an opportunity.

May God bless you with child of your liking!
Let bliss and prosperity, your child bring;
Being a nurse, you know what’s baby-care;
Just leave all things to God for child’s welfare.
