Lines To A Sick Friend Poem by John Thorkild Ellison

Lines To A Sick Friend

Rating: 3.3

I know there's no easy answer
But time will tell
Though you're locked in a hopeless sorrow
And private hell,
There WILL be another tomorrow
When you feel well.

Don't throw your desperate lot
In with the losing side,
There is no crazy logic
In suicide:

However much you may suffer,
Whatever people say,
One day you will recover
And face a brand new day.
