it is understood
where there is folk-dances
there is hailstorm
the potato-growers are undone
observing all those
the coloured eyes of the water-cat
become much tearful
come, oh shy grandfather
gathering on this platform of pot-herb-creeper
we now
in search of some unspoilt palmyra-pulp of the kernel
we start digging vehemently
