you told me you loved me
how could you lie to me like that

when i told you how i felt about you
those are words i'd still NEVER take back

you told me you liked me
but you said you liked her, too

you've hurt me over and over and over
but i STILL put all my trust in you

every night i stay up crying
i can't get you out of my head

everything i do reminds me of you
how can you still break my heart after its been dead

maybe i should make the final cut
i can see you don't want me from the look in your eyes

i can tell you don't want me
by the hidden messages in your lies

i tried to be the one for you
i tried to be everything you'd ever need

maybe im falling way too hard
maybe im just too naive

the hardest thing is
that i know you chose someone better than i can be

just don't hurt her
like you hurt me
