Light Poem by Suresh Dogra

Light

God said: Let there be light
And there was light
And God loved light
It was dark midnight
When a suicide bomber
Blew himself up
With a flash of light
Light lights light
A building nearby
Was lit up with fire
The edifice entire
Was gutted to the ground
Next morning it was found
As newspapers reported
Men and women were roasted
Along with a child
God said: Let there be light
And there was light
And God loved light

It is indeed an irony. The God loves light and thus a suicide bomber blew himself up in flames(to produce light) . I think the message is 'come what may' the light must prevail. I like the poem.
