Lifetime Love Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Lifetime Love

I sit in my chair, and look at the girl I well know
So many years, and she never grows old
The sunshine makes a halo that time has foretold
She will always be my angel, I will always love so

Never let my life fall into a dream
May I always see my angel, sitting here next to me
Our years, have been splendid for all life could be
The only true sorrow, is when life makes us leave

There are days when I sit here thinking out words
Always talking with my dear friend when my life's at it's worse
I'm hoping that someday all the world will know peace
In the way that a woman can rest you, with ease
