Life Passing By Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Life Passing By

I see life passing by my eyes, oh how I wish to be flying.
These wings will take me away, to the place where I belong.

Only if you knew what I'd done you'll see that I will have to fly away,
Into the forever land where I belong,

I will fly on through the sky's and go where I belong.
The journey itself will take years to find, but I will find my way.

As I see through my eyes I see life passing me by, I will find my place
in the world that I am living In.

So where did you go, I thought you were gone...but now I still see your standing.

As I see through these eyes I realize, that I did you wrong.
I gave you empty lies and should of gave you all of me.

Don't shed a tear for me, I will always be in your heart.
I will always be in your memory.

Well I see life passing me by, don't let go of me...take me as I am.
I've been waiting for you, to hold my hand. So don't let go of me, I will always be
by your side.

I see everything passing by me, as if the time had been frozen.
Oh now I see your smiling face, I will aways remember this moment with you.

So where do I go from here, should I just fly away from everyone that I love.
Put them into the frames of my past.

Let go of my feelings, let yourself be numb to the pain.
Now I can't feel anything at all, take in all the pain.
This life I live, will take me to my road of life.
Will this path take me, to where I belong?
