Life On Repeat Poem by Lee A Howlett

Life On Repeat

Long morning
I should of listened to the warning
Now the day is under way
I'm committed to see it through
To much but I can't pick what to do
Laundry still spinning
With this attitude I shouldn't wonder why I'm not winning
Keep yawning
Don't look at my direction
I use the night before as a guide to my reflection
Should of listened
Instead of drinking in to oblivion
I should rewind and start over again or fast forward because I will be like this over and over again

Quite a bleak view on life. I can see where you're coming from but I hope you really mean it when you say it isn't you. We can all feel like that sometimes, just don't let it be your over riding view point. Good poem though, uncompromising, a test for the reader. We need to be tested sometimes.
