Life Is A Hunt (Warning Adult Theme) Poem by Lance Mead

Life Is A Hunt (Warning Adult Theme)

Rating: 5.0

I'm all alone and nowhere to be found,
A life in darkness not even a sound,
Your name i scream but you don't hear,
In a world of my own I'm living in fear,
I tried to reach out but nobody cared,
No one to talk to I'm terrified not scared,

Now in the black of the night when everyone sleeps,
I go out to play but I'm playing for keeps,
Retribution, no, life is a game,
I emerge from the shadows its always the same,

A silent scream, a glint of the blade,
Their perfect life starts to fade,
The look on their face trembling in fear,
The light in their eyes starts to disappear,

A lock of hair, a trophy I'll keep,
A hearty meal makes it easier to sleep,
Life is a game, no, life is a hunt,
You see my face, it's only a front,

The rush of life makes you feel alive,
Only the strong and the smart will survive,
A perfect life is a terrible lie,
If you believe it your going to die...
