Life & Destiny (3) (A Sad Clown Made People Laugh) Poem by U Win Kyi

Last year, with a young man his wife had eloped,
dashing all his dream and hope.
6 months ago, his son died a terrible death,
in an accidental car crash.
3 months ago, his house burnt down to ash.
1 month ago, his saving lost in financial melt.
2 weeks ago, the doctor said his health showed a red flag.
Never had he been so sad.

But every day on the stage, he made audience laugh,
so heartily in a loud roar and burst.
He got confused about life's destiny.
He wondered if it was life's irony.

He prayed, ' O, my God, please don't play on me a funny joke,
show me at the end of tunnel, a glimmer of hope.'
