Life & Destiny (2) (How You Define?) Poem by U Win Kyi

Life & Destiny (2) (How You Define?)

Rating: 5.0

Mary said marriage was no fun,
she wanted to be a celibate nun.
Now she is married happily,
raising a big family.

Billy was always angry.
He was a big bully.
Now about love he always preaches.
Always forgiving, a revenge he never seeks.

Grace has a beautiful face,
but so shy and was not brave.
Always staying away from people out of fear.
Now she is a famous actress gaining public cheer.

David was very timid,
like a small rabbit.
Now he is an army general,
and a hero of many fierce battles.

You see how strange a destiny is.
Going contrary to your wish.
How do you define a destiny by your own way?
It is God's plan a Christian says.
It is law of karma,
according to believer of Buddha.
'It is Allah's will ' said a Muslim.
'It is nothing 'said an atheist without religion.

Whatever they say,
on the stage of life, a role you must play,
for the well-being of your family,
your society and your country.
