Life Poem by Amias Davies

Life

A life that was taken,
In the house it was forsaken,
Emotions toyed with, shaken,
Not allowed to awaken.

A life that is controlled by me,
Was chained and made a tree,
Never given a choice to be free,
All the wishes of how to flee.

A life that got given,
But the car by me was not driven,
I truly hope they were forgiven,
For the thieves that made me give in.

A life that was crushed to a tunnel,
Only gazed through a bubble,
Brain free but the muscle,
From birth they picked the shovel.
