People are coming and going – Most without knowing
Why they are here today
War in Iraq – Religious attack – Where is my 401k
Look around – We’re going down – Never to return
To prayer in school – In God we trust – How little have we learned
We run amuck – Immorally stuck – Looking for the answers within
And all we find is an empty space – We try to fill at an endless pace
The love of money and a good time – Leaves us broken before our prime
Humble pie we now must eat – Our addiction we now must beat
And one day we awake to find – We’re running blind on borrowed time
Filled with sin we have no shame – We say a prayer but take no blame
But One is listening to all we say – He clears our path, He lights the way
He’s Lord of Lords and King of Kings – He is love, He is everything
So how should we live from day to day? He is the potter, and we are the clay
How can we know what is best – It’s in His word, it stood the test
The answers to life are written within – To guide your choices until the end
For this day is given for you to choose – When eternity calls, know the good news
Life and death are given to all – Some will ascend, and others will fall
So ask for forgiveness & believe in the One – Live with joy and die with the SON
Go in peace and live for Him – Love one another, God Bless and amen
