Lie To Me Poem by P. A. Donohue

Lie To Me

Rating: 5.0

so please lie to me, do tell me a fib
make me fall in love, wait... already did
and now i need it all, over again
so lie to me baby, call me your friend
do like before, when you made me giggle
like a little school girl, taught and wiggle
please you happily, in so many ways
lie to me sweetie, just least one more day.

my heart is breaking, scarcely skips a beat
cause with out your tenders, I am just meat
fed upon by vultures maggots and worms
cause I believed you once, fell into harm
so go be untrue, with many lovers
lie to me baby, like you did others
just please do not abandon me, unread
without you at all, I'm better off dead.
