Letting Go Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Letting Go

Trying to sieve
Right from wrong
Evil from good
And to which
I belong

What if
The books of morals
Were to shred and tear
Would we all
Still suffer our fears?

If the wise priests
Of the world
Were to vanish
From face of Earth

Would we still
Bind ourselves
In ropes of rules
And blind or senses
So they don't see
The obvious stuff

Too many rules
To many rues
Repressed emotions
Hidden truths

Cannot contain
High ocean waves
Or fight the ambers
In Sun's rays

So let go
Let loose
And our paths
We'll get to choose.
