Letters From The Wilderness Poem by Olivia Capulet

Letters From The Wilderness

I love life like a distraction
Heartache in the rain
Snow may fall
And they may call
I won't feel the drain

I'll keep walking this lonely road
Keep taking it slow
I'll live life in confinement
When there's nowhere else to go

I love life like a petty sin
Bitterness in vain
The rain will sleep
In wounds so deep
I won't fall again

I'll keep walking this empty road
Until they let me go
I'll live life in the wilderness
I've got nowhere better to go.
