Letter To The Headmaster Poem by Nosherwan khan

Letter To The Headmaster

My son will have to learn...teach him
For every scoundral there is a hero
For every selfish politician there is a leader
For every foe there is a friend
Teach him to earn is better then to find
Teach him to adore books but also to admire
The beauty surrounding him...take him away from envy
Theach him the bigger they are the harder they fall
Teach him to stand when everyone sits
To be sure when everyone doubts
Teach him to express his feelings
Teach him not to be fooled by smiles
Teach him to fight for what is right
Let him carry the patience of being brave
Teach him to have sublime faith in humankind
Teach him.......He is such a fine little fellow my Son

(Inspired by a letter of Abraham Lincon to the headmaster of his Son)
