Let's show the shiny part

Peacock's legs you must hide.
Show only Its wings and tail.
Hide slums behind high-rises.
Spray perfume on things stale.

Years ago a hero was born.
New hero has taken birth again.
Paint his dirty hands with white.
Show choice of society sane.

For God' sake hang someone.
Land's prestige is at stake.
If culprits cannot be hanged.
Size of my neck you can take.

Display your esthetic creativity.
Utilize your unmatchable art.
And let's show the shiny part.
And let's show the shiny part.

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Scott

The moon's on the lake, and the mist's on the brae,
And the Clan has a name that is nameless by day;
Then gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
Gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
