Let Me Tell You About Poetry
It's the sun, the sky, the deep blue sea,
the birds in the branches singing to me.
It's in every place you could ever dream of,
Poetry is a great gift sent from above.
It makes you laugh, it makes you cry,
and sometimes makes you wonder why.
It even makes you fall in love and feel,
and loneliness, just becomes surreal.
It's the lyrics to every melody,
a connection between you and me.
So let me tell you about poetry,
without it, we simply cannot be.
