You lifted me up
Put my feet on yours
Looked me in my eyes
We danced through the night.

You stood quietly at one corner
Reached out to me when I needed you
Held me close when I wanted you
We stayed there through the night.

From the first note you hit
From the first touch we made
You are the reason why
I won’t be able to make it through the night

I’m afraid to show
How stranded I am trying to move on
I can’t take no more
Let me let you go.
