Please don’t wake me
While I’m dreaming,
I’m having so much fun.
Things seem so much better
In my world of dreams.
The real world
Sometimes hurts,
In my world
I never cry.
The real world
Sometimes stops,
In my world
I never die.
The real world
Wants to know,
My world
Doesn’t ask why.
I’m not a poet,
I’m not an artist,
I’m just a child
With many dreams.
