Let Me Poem by jyoti saxena

Let Me

Rating: 5.0

The raindrops fell
and cast a spell
Tempting my tamed spirits to swell,
to ride the wild horse of fantasy;
to the far- off lands
where love dwells.
Let the raindrops my ladder be
and the rainbow be my lyre;
let me create a spectrum
and paint the world with one fire.
Let me be that raindrop
and split the light of desire;
let my heart be the cenotaph
and hatred be the cadaver.
Let me dissolve like the raindrop
and purge the world off all odium.
Let there be a sea of tranquility
and each heart the love podium.
