Let It Rain Poem by D.S. Bell

Let It Rain

Earth's sky dark and blue;
bruised and sore.
Perhaps angry,
I honestly don't know.

I always get a sense of excitement,
Yes, the thrill of the expected downpour;

You can sense the humidity in the air,
Pressure in the atmosphere
Each performance unique and rare;
O' listen to the skies
Listen to it crackle and boom,
What a thrill;
Thunder!
O' watch the skies
Watch the skies flash and spark
What a delight;
Lightning!

Let it rain, let it rain.
What more could you want?
Uncork the champagne
And grab the popcorn.
Come watch the sky entertain
What more could you want?
Let it rain, let it rain.
I do love the rain!
