Let It Go
She closed her eyes
But could not sleep
She heard the fan rambling above her
Dogs barking in the neighborhood
Autombiles siren along the road
She could hear her own heartbeat
Her mind signalled a sad memory
Her heart responded
A pain she felt
She would not want to cry
She told herself not anymore
Not this time, it's over
Let it go
