Legends Don't Die Poem by Frank Adie

Legends Don't Die

Rating: 5.0

Surely there was standing ovation in the land of the dead,
To usher in the greatest female musician of all times;
While celebration greeted you in the underworld,
The world mourned, and bemoaned your departure.

Your melodious voice still resonates across the globe,
Long after you quitted the world's music stage,
Death just couldn't shut your mouth,
For legends don't die, they just hibernate.

You will remain the greatest music maestro ever born,
The ovation of posterity will never elude you,
For we are daily being mesmerized by your emotional lyrics,
Those angelic vocal cascade from a genius musician.

The world miss you Whitney, we really do,
You will remain a household name in the world of legendary,
Our love will forever be your love,
And we will always love you.

In memory of Whitney Houston.
