Legacy Poem by courtney perrott

Legacy

One day back in my time
Milk at school only cost a dime
Angry lunch ladies here were rare
They loved all the kids, each the same
For recess we played ball and jacks
Then went to class to learn like you
Made friends and played in the yard next door
I sometimes wonder where time has gone.
