Leaving Is Bittersweet Poem by Ray Hansell

Leaving Is Bittersweet

Rating: 5.0

A gentle hug
As tears fall
A sadder time
You can't recall

All you know
Is that goodbye's
Always seem
To make you cry

The words you want
You can't find
So much confusion
In your mind

You know one day
The pain will pass
Wonderful memories
Will forever last

Life goes on
The way it should
We'd change things
If we could

But in life
We're always told
There's so much
We can't control

People come
People go
Life still goes on
As we all know

The best thing
When one parts
Love them always
In your heart
