Leaves In Flight Poem by ERNEST CLARY

The wind was blowing leaves around last night
when the wind curved the leaves swirved
just like birds in flight
I never noticed it before
such an awesome sight
they were moving really fast
but not the speed of light
they were blowing around having a fest
perhaps the last time
before they go to the ground to rest
it looked like they were alive
following each others bend
but actually they would rise and dive
powered by the wind
