Leave Poem by Bailey Burris

Leave

If you want to go
Then leave me, you’ll see
I know you want it
So whats stopping you, it's easy.

Don’t say you really care
Don’t say you’ll miss me there
But I will still wait
I will stay in this chair

With my heart on the ground
Every inch, every tear
Then I will know
That you don’t really care

I’ll think of the memories
And the love that was made
Every ounce of passion
Not one was faked

And while you are there
So many states away
I’ll still be here
Counting down the days
