I know tender mercy
Through one who takes life
As comes giving where say
The moment belongs

Who's own heart was given
But taken by wrong
Yet tenderness guides her
Loves guidance she longs

Survives through life broken
Dreams seldom we see
Delicate thought spoken
To soft to believe

But I've seen her journey
Bear witness and know
True giving, no mourning
Of own loss let go.

No sight of temptation
Been able to bind
Her own contemplation
Of Grace fixed to mind

She is my true hero
Seen no stronger kind
She walks the road narrow
Faithful friend mine.
