Discern Poem by Lonnie Choate

Discern

A thought of prospective
Yet only reflective
Of feelings of what's left behind

Of encounter, may many
Who stood for, if any
Objective, receptive own mind

Though thoughtfully separate
From stands firmly desperate
Seek judgement and gossip with kind.

Like mindness not worthy
To stand judge and jury
Gainst own ways whom others remind.
